Clinical Tests in Denmark Prove it Works
Just four years ago Dr Torben Andersen of the prestigious Charlottenlund Medical Centre in Denmark conducted a double-blind placebo controlled trial with more than 90 overweight volunteers.
All were weighed prior to the test which recorded results after forty five days and over the next twelve months.
Half were given capsules containing the herbs, Yerba Mate, Damiana and Guarana.
The other half of the volunteers were given capsules containing ingredients designed to do absolutely nothing. These are called placebos.
None of the 90 volunteers knew what capsules they were taking.
This is an essential ingredient of a Clinical Trial. And only a Clinical Trial is accepted as proof of success by the scientific community.
After forty five days Dr Andersen’s results showed that those taking the herbal combination had lost an average of 5kg (about 11lbs). The placebo group averaged weight loss of 0.45kg (about 1lb).
A significant difference of 11 to 1.
And the participants who continued in the study not only lost more weight but also maintained the loss.
